SINTEXDRAIN®

The drainage geocomposite

A range of drainage composites consisting in a three-dimensional geogrid made of 2- or 3-strand HDPE, bonded with one or two layers of non-woven PP geotextile. Depending on the type of geogrid, the product can guarantee permeability along the plane to a greater or lesser degree, dictated by the applied load. In addition to drainage, the functions performed by these geocomposites include separation and filtration (provided by the non-woven geotextile), and accordingly, they offer a valid and advantageous alternative to traditional gravel drainage, required for example in landfill cappings (for the management of rainwater and biogas), or in earth-retaining structures. Opting for a geocomposite solution, engineers and contractors are able to cut down on the use of aggregates, minimize excavations and spoil, and benefit from a faster work schedule, which besides simplifying and lowering costs, also reduces the environmental impact of the installation.

SINTEXDRAIN® range

SINTEXDRAIN® GN e GY

Drainage geocomposite comprising a three-dimensional diamond link mesh geogrid made of 2-strand HDPE, bonded with a non-woven PP geotextile. The two versions offer different levels of resistance to crushing (higher in the case of the GN version).

SINTEXDRAIN® GNG e GYG

Drainage geocomposite comprising a three-dimensional diamond link mesh geogrid made of 2-strand HDPE, bonded with 2 non-woven PP geotextiles.
The two versions offer different levels of resistance to crushing (higher in the case of the GNG version).

SINTEXDRAIN® GNF

Drainage geocomposite comprising a three-dimensional diamond link mesh geogrid made of 2-strand HDPE, bonded with a non-woven PP geotextile and an impermeable membrane (LDPE + EVA).

SINTEXDRAIN® GK, GKG, GS e GSG

Drainage geocomposite comprising a three-dimensional geogrid made of 3-strand HDPE, bonded with one or two non-woven PP geotextiles. GK and GKG versions have a stronger mesh, ideal for high load applications, whereas GS and GSG have a structure offering greater permeability.
