GEODREN®

The geotextile for separation, filtration and protection

A non-woven geotextile made of synthetic polyester or polypropylene fibres, white or coloured, pressed and hot-calendered, which can also be customized with specific treatments.
Available with a range of different tensile strengths and specifications that differ according to the nature of the raw material used in manufacture.
Non-woven geotextiles are used predominantly to separate layered aggregates of different grain sizes, so that the layer containing finer grain particles will not penetrate the layer made up of coarser particles. These same non-wovens are also used for the protection of geomembranes and waterproof barriers in general, by virtue of their resistance to compressive stresses, and as a filter medium in drainage works, given that they are permeable to water and at the same time able to trap and retain solid particles.
