High infiltration performance
This is a modular element moulded from regenerated PP in the form of a tunnel having a completely open bottom. It allows the creation of drains in the subsoil for the collection and dispersal of rainwater filtering down from surface drainage systems, or waste water discharged post-treatment from sources not connected to the public sewers.
INFILTRATION TUNNEL elements present an arched structure with stiffening ribs designed to ensure high mechanical strength, and consequently are suitable for underground installations even where heavy vehicles of up to 60 tonnes may be in transit. The single tunnel can be coupled with a second tunnel to double the volume of water collected. The low profile of the module allows the creation of dispersal systems featuring minimal depth and practically unlimited breadth (length or surface area), which is ideal where the level of an unconfined aquifer is typically near to ground level, or more generally, in any situation where excavation depth happens to be a limiting factor.
The module is moulded from regenerated PP and covered by international certifications (including BBA and ITB) confirming its long-term durability.

An assembly of 2 INFILTRATION TUNNEL modules paired together so as to present a tubular configuration and secured with 6 clips, designed to maximize the capacity of the drain per unit of occupied space. Especially suitable for the dispersal of rainwater when installed in green areas or where cars are in transit. Dimensions: 116x80xh102 cm, capacity 600 litres.
A module of compact dimensions, designed for installation on private properties and suitable typically for the dispersal of treated waste water. Can be installed in green areas or where cars are in transit. Dimensions: 119x50xh32 cm, capacity 130 litres.
Dispersal of rainwater
The ideal solution for managing significant amounts of rainwater on sites affording extensive surface areas and limited scope for excavation to any great depth. In the case of treated waste water, this is an improvement on drains with slotted PVC pipes, as with an increased dispersal surface area per unit of length, drains can be made shorter and dispersal takes place more quickly, minimizing the risk of clogging over long periods. The lightweight construction of the module favours a marked reduction in the time needed for installation and increased safety for installers. INFILTRATION TUNNEL modules are moulded from regenerated plastic, and their manufacture therefore has a low impact on the environment. Long-term durability of the product is guaranteed by quality controls on material in production, and certifications to industry standards.
