Recovery and re-utilization

Proper management of rainwater involves not only ensuring controlled dispersal, so that land and property will not be affected by critical hydraulic conditions, but also exploiting the option of putting all or part of the water collected by strategic drainage to uses such as irrigation for parks and gardens, flushing systems for toilet facilities, and creating emergency reserve supplies for fire-fighting purposes.

Modules of the ECOBLOC range, suitably combined with an impermeable geomembrane, can be used to create cisterns, customizable in terms of capacity and dimensions, for the collection and subsequent re-use of rainwater. This is a notably competitive solution, both for small volumes in areas where prefabricated elements are not logistically easy to deliver and handle, and for more substantial volumes, providing an advantageous alternative to reinforced concrete tanks cast in situ.
