Multifilament polyester yarn woven geotextile  with high tensile strength and low elongation at break, which is extremely effective in the stabilization of roads, railways, airport runways, river embankments and the construction of works in elevation (embankments  , retaining walls, etc.. ).

With the combination of high modulus polyester fibers and a system of advanced weaving, the woven geotextile TELEVEV for soil reinforcement have very high tensile strength with low strain (TELEVEV is available in rolls with tensile strengths up to 1,400 kN / m at 12% elongation).

As confirmed by several  tests, the polyester (PET) is a polymer very resistant and stable. Combined with the advanced weaving technology allows the creation of a product that gets excellent characteristics with respect to creep , fracture mechanics, resistance to UV radiation and chemical and biological attacks. The two most important characteristics for a suitable product for soil reinforcement are the ability to maintain strength over time and to have a low degree of deformation , that means  to have a minimum elongation under a constant load (creep). Polyester is , in this sense, superior to the most other synthetic fibers, since both the tensile strength reduction and the creep  are very minor. Therefore, projects that involve the use of geotextile fabrics made ​​of polyester, you can use the design values ​​of the tensile strength of up to 40% of tensile strength in the short term, compared with 20% referred to other materials. EXAMPLE: If the tensile strength provided in the project is 40 kN / m, can be used woven polyester fabrics 100 kN / m (using up to 40% of the nominal tensile strength), whereas if you use other synthetic materials , they must have a tensile strength of 200 kN / m (using only 20% of the nominal tensile strength).

Polyester is one of the a synthetic fibers  more resistant to chemical and biological attacks. In addition to excellent UV stability, polyester has excellent resistance to chemicals in general (eg salt water, oil and oils).

Alkali:  resistant to all commonly found in soil alkali  (eg, up to pH = 11). If alkaline conditions are higher than 11 PH, please refer to our technical service.

Acids: resistant to all acids normally present in the soil (eg, acids with pH> 2).
